National Honor Society
Rosedale Baptist School is a member of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools. Students in grades 10-12 are eligible for nomination based on academic achievement, student leadership, and spiritual character. A student who is a member of the National Honor Society must continue to maintain all standards and responsibilities which were required to become a member in order to retain his membership. Eight students were inducted in the inaugural chapter of the Rosedale Baptist Chapter of the National Honor Society the first year.
Candidates eligible for election to this chapter must be members of the sophomore, junior, or senior classes and must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A student who rises to the minimum academic standard set by Rosedale Baptist School is eligible for candidacy even after his sophomore year.
The mission of Rosedale Baptist School is to Reach. Build. Serve. Students eligible for nomination must actively serve within the school and within the community. A minimum number of service hours are required to be completed by the student.
As a leader, a student must exemplify integrity and character to the student body and the teaching faculty. Upon nomination, a student must also submit a written letter of testimony to the chapter advisor.
